The Jamestown Fire Department recently took delivery of a new 2010 Freightliner Pumper. The truck features a 1,000 gallon water tank, 1,500 GPM pump, wireless remote deck gun and room for four passengers. You can view a picture of the new truck here.

On Saturday, July 10th, 2010 our department will be holding a pancake breakfast from 7:00 AM - 12:00 (Noon). The event will be held at the Fire Hall located at 209 2nd Ave NW in Jamestown. Little damage was done when a fire broke out in the grain dryer at Reimers Elevator today. Units were on scene from 8:00-9:30 AM. One bushel of corn was lost with no injuries reported.
